IMPROVEMENTS

The Safer Drive 65 project will improve the traffic flow and safety along I-65 from Blue Lick Road in Clark County to a point just south of the Henryville Rest Stop. Improvements include added capacity, pavement reconstruction, bridge replacements and upgrades, and other enhancements that will extend the life of the corridor and prepare it for projected traffic demand.

Construction is expected to begin in late summer 2025 and continue through 2028.
